Welcome to the recap of our June LFS Community of Practice!

Today's Session Highlights:

• Try It Local Funding to Purchase Local Food

  • Purchasing strategies to make the most of the remaining funding, including Summer Feeding.

    • The Seamless Summer Option is eligible for these funds!

    • Purchasing shelf-stable pantry items, including:

      • Beans, Flours, Pastas, Wheat Berries etc

    • Freezing items like produce and meats

      • Spotlight:

        

    • For small quantity purchases, Sun Produce Co-op has available vegetables, fruits, and meats

  • How to Submit for Reimbursement

  • End of Program is June 30th, 2026

    • Invoices must be submitted by June 30th and sent in to ADE by July 15th
